Getting started

How do I track push-ups?

Open the app, tap push-ups, use the scroll wheel to enter your reps, and save. No timer, no setup, no tutorial.

Does Kountrain count reps automatically?

No. You enter your reps manually after each set. This keeps the app simple and accurate. No phone placement, no sensor issues.

How does the plank timer work?

Planks have a dedicated timer screen. Tap start, hold your plank, tap save when done. The timer caps at one hour.

Can I add custom exercises?

No. Kountrain tracks six exercises: push-ups, squats, planks, pull-ups, lunges, and burpees. That is the whole app.

Progress and stats

How do streaks work?

Log at least one workout on consecutive calendar days. Your streak counts how many days in a row you have trained. Miss a day and it resets to zero. The app tracks both your current and longest streak.

How accurate are the calorie estimates?

Kountrain uses MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values to estimate calories based on your weight, height, and sex. Enter your body metrics in Settings for better accuracy. Without them, it uses a 70kg default.

What charts can I see?

The stats screen shows bar charts by day, week, or month. You can view total reps or calories, broken down by exercise type. Current and longest streak are shown at the top.

How many achievements are there?

56 achievements across streak milestones, total reps per exercise, workout days, calories burned, and a few special ones like logging all six exercises in one day.

Data and privacy

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.

How do I export my workout history?

Go to Settings and tap Export. You get a CSV file with every workout: date, time, exercise, reps, and calories. Share it however you want.

Does Kountrain work offline?

Yes. Everything works offline. No internet required.

Languages and settings

What languages is Kountrain available in?

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and German. The app detects your device language automatically.

Can I set daily reminders?

Yes. Go to Settings and enable notifications. You can pick the time of day. Reminders are only sent on days you have not trained.

How do daily goals work?

Set a daily rep goal in Settings. The home screen shows your progress toward it. Hit the goal and you get haptic feedback. The goal counts reps across all exercises.
