Using Trazu
What can I paint with?
A full paint engine, free from your first stroke. Seven free mediums, Basic, Oil, Watercolor, Charcoal, Chalk, Ink, and Pastel, each with its own feel, and nine paper textures, from Smooth and Hot Press to Canvas, Kraft, and Blueprint. Pick a medium, a tip, and a paper, and paint. Premium adds a master's shelf on top: six master brushes (silverpoint, scumble, conté, blending stump, tortillon, and airbrush) and three master papers (black pastel ground, laid Ingres, and terracotta).
What are the study views?
A way to check your own painting while you can still fix it. Values strips it to grayscale so you can read its light and dark, Temperature maps warm against cool, Saturation shows where your color is working and where it has gone muddy, and Contrast pushes the lights and darks apart so the tonal structure reads clearly. They come with Premium.
How do I export a drawing?
Open the gallery, tap the three-dot menu on your drawing, and choose Export, then pick PNG or JPEG. Export is free for everyone; exporting a PNG with a transparent background comes with Premium.
How do I delete a drawing?
Open the gallery, tap the three-dot menu on the drawing you want to remove, and choose Delete. We ask you to confirm first, because a deleted drawing cannot be undone.
Getting and using Trazu
Is Trazu free, and is it a subscription?
Yes, free to start, and there is no subscription. Premium is a one-time purchase, shown in the app in your local currency. The paint engine is free, with seven mediums and nine paper textures, and you can save up to 10 drawings. Premium adds unlimited drawings, the four study views, transparent PNG export, and the master brushes and papers.
What devices is Trazu available on?
iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android. Your Premium unlock carries to every device signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account.
Does Trazu need an internet connection?
No. Trazu works fully offline. You can paint, save, and export with no connection and no account.
How do I restore my purchase?
On a new device or after reinstalling, open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchase, signed in to the App Store or Google Play account that bought Premium. Premium is yours for life on every device tied to that account.
Your privacy
Where are my drawings saved, and do they stay private?
On your device only. There's no account, and your drawings stay with you: they are never uploaded and never sent to a server. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a small, anonymous diagnostic report, the kind that flags a crash or notes which features get used, so we can fix what breaks. It carries no artwork and nothing that identifies you. Because everything lives on your device, uninstalling Trazu removes your drawings, so export anything you want to keep.
