Privacy policy

Trazu is a painting app that works offline, with your drawings kept on your device. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and the control you have.

Your drawings stay on your device

Your drawings are stored only on your device, we cannot see them, and they are never uploaded to a server. On iPhone, iPad and Android, uninstalling Trazu removes them. On Mac, deleting the app leaves them on your Mac, so delete them in the app first if you want them gone.

What leaves your device

The only things that leave your device are anonymous and never include your drawings:

• Usage analytics to understand how the app is used: which screens and features you use, plus your device and app details and whether you have Premium, tied to a random ID created on first launch (not your name, email, or any account). It runs on our own servers, so no outside company receives it. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the ID lives in the system keychain, which can outlive an uninstall; on Android it goes with the app.
• Crash reports with the device type, operating system, app version, and technical details of a crash. They never include your drawings.
• Feedback: if you send feedback or email us, we receive your message and anything you include, like your email or a screenshot, so we can reply.
• Purchases: if you buy Premium, the App Store or Google Play processes the payment and tells us it succeeded so we can unlock it.

What we don’t do

• We don’t create user accounts
• We don’t store your drawings on our servers
• We don’t sell your data, or share it with advertisers or data brokers
• We don’t show ads
• We don’t track you across other apps or websites
• We only touch your photo library when you ask us to: importing an image, attaching a screenshot to feedback, or saving a finished drawing to your photos

Your control

Your drawings stay on your device. On iPhone, iPad and Android, uninstalling Trazu removes them; on Mac, deleting the app leaves them, so delete them in the app first. Your random analytics ID and your Premium status live in the system keychain on iPhone, iPad and Mac, which can outlive an uninstall. They stay anonymous and contain nothing you drew, and reinstalling on the same device finds your Premium again.

To delete anything we hold, such as your anonymous analytics records or a feedback message, email privacy@paintingstack.com and we’ll remove them, usually within a few days.
