Privacy Policy
Undertone analyzes the colors in your images entirely on your device. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and the control you have.
Your images stay on your device
Undertone reads and analyzes your images entirely on your device. Your photos and the analyses you create are stored only on your device, we cannot see them, and they are never uploaded to a server.
What leaves your device
The only things that leave your device are anonymous and never include your images:
- Usage analytics to understand how the app is used: which screens and features you use, plus your device and app details and whether you have Premium, tied to a random ID created on your device (not your name or email). It runs on our own servers, so no outside company receives it.
- Crash reports with the technical details when the app crashes, so we can fix it. No images, no name, no email.
- Feedback: if you send feedback or email us, we receive your message and anything you include, like your email or a screenshot, so we can reply.
What we don’t do
- We don’t create user accounts
- We don’t collect your name or location
- We don’t sell your data, or share it with advertisers or data brokers
- We don’t show ads
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites
Your control
Your images and analyses live on your device. Erase them anytime with Delete All Data in Settings, and uninstalling the app removes them too. On iOS, a little technical data in the system keychain (your purchase status and the random analytics ID) can remain after uninstall; it stays anonymous, and reinstalling resets your purchase status.
