Privacy Policy
Skisa turns a photo into a line drawing entirely on your device. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and the control you have.
Your photos and drawings stay on your device
The photos you bring in and the drawings Skisa makes from them are stored only on your device. We cannot see them, and they are never uploaded to a server. Deleting a sketch removes it, and uninstalling Skisa removes them all.
What leaves your device
Nothing that leaves your device includes your photos or your drawings:
- Usage analytics to understand how the app is used: which screens and features you use, plus your device and app details and whether you have Premium, tied to a random ID created on first launch (not your name, email, or any account). It runs on our own servers, so no outside company receives it.
- Crash reports with the device type, operating system, app version, and technical details of a crash. They never include your photos or drawings.
- Feedback: if you send feedback or email us, we receive your message and anything you include, like your email or a screenshot, so we can reply.
- Purchases: if you buy Premium, the App Store or Google Play processes the payment and tells us it succeeded so we can unlock it.
What we don’t do
- We don’t create user accounts
- We don’t store your photos or your drawings on our servers
- We don’t sell your data, or share it with advertisers or data brokers
- We don’t show ads
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites
- We only use your camera and photo library when you ask us to: taking or picking a photo, attaching a screenshot to a message, or saving a finished drawing back to your photos
Your control
Your photos and drawings stay on your device. Uninstalling Skisa removes them.
Two small technical values are the exception on iOS. They stay in the system keychain after you uninstall: whether you own Premium, and the random analytics ID. Neither identifies you. Keeping your purchase status there is deliberate, so that reinstalling gives Premium straight back.
To delete anything we hold, such as your anonymous analytics records or a message you sent us, email privacy@paintingstack.com and we’ll remove them, usually within a few days.
