Terms of Service
Mintza is a language tutor you talk with, for iPhone and Android, developed and operated by Paintingstack. You practice speaking with an AI teacher; it’s a practice tool, not a certified language program. By using it, you agree to these terms, which cover your account, your subscription, and what we promise.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google to save your progress and use the app. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can delete your account and your personal data from the app at any time, and deletion is immediate. See our Privacy Policy for what we keep and what we retain after deletion.
Subscriptions
Mintza offers minute-based subscriptions billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel anytime in your device settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies. Some free minutes are included at no cost, and unused paid minutes do not roll over between billing periods.
AI-generated content
All teacher responses are generated by AI. They may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of corrections, translations, or language advice.
Acceptable use
Please use Mintza respectfully: don’t use it to create harmful, illegal, or abusive content, and don’t try to bypass minute limits or manipulate the AI. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Availability
We work to keep Mintza running well, but we can’t promise it will always be available without interruptions, and we may change or improve features over time. If we ever have to discontinue Mintza, we’ll give you reasonable notice and won’t charge you for a paid period you can no longer use.
Our responsibility
Mintza is provided as is. Like any software it isn’t perfect, and we can’t guarantee it always works without errors. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for damages arising from your use of the app. None of this removes the rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
