What we collect

• Google account email and ID: used for authentication

What we don't collect

• Your YouTube playlists or video data (fetched on demand, never stored on our servers)
• Your Google OAuth token (passed through per-request, never stored on our servers)
• Browsing history or activity outside the extension

Analytics and feedback

• Basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) tied to a random ID in your browser, not to your name or email, processed by our self-hosted analytics service
• Error tracking to detect and fix bugs
• If you send feedback, we receive your message and, if you include it, your email, so we can read it and reply

We don't share your data with third parties, and we don't show ads.

Third-party services

We use the YouTube Data API v3 to fetch your playlists and video metadata on your behalf. This data is displayed in the extension and not stored on our servers.

By using this extension, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke access at any time at Google Security Settings.

Chrome extension permissions

• identity: Google OAuth authentication
• storage: persist login session locally in the browser
• sidePanel: display the extension UI
• activeTab: detect YouTube to navigate the current tab
• tabs: open videos in new tabs

Account deletion

Open the extension, click your profile picture, then Delete account. We delete your email straight away. We keep a de-identified Google sign-in identifier so the account can be recreated cleanly if you sign in again, and we remove that too on request. Your playlist data is never stored on our servers, so there is nothing there to delete. If you have uninstalled the extension or cannot sign in, email privacy@paintingstack.com and we will delete your account, usually within a few business days.
