Cartarossa Support

From the home screen, tap the tool you want, then pick the file or files to work on. Cartarossa processes it on your device and shows you the result, with Save and Share buttons. There is no setup and no account.

Tap Save to write the result to your device, or Share to send it straight to another app, mail, or message. Nothing is saved anywhere else, and nothing is uploaded.

No. There is no sign-up and no login, ever. Open the app and start working.

No. Every tool runs on your device. Your PDFs are read, processed, and saved on the phone itself. They are never uploaded, never stored on a server, and we never see them.

Yes, completely. Because all processing is local, every tool works on a plane, on the subway, or with no connection at all.

Never your documents. Only anonymous, aggregate usage (which tools are opened) and crash diagnostics, both used to fix bugs and improve the app. No account, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

It depends on the file. Image-heavy and scanned PDFs shrink the most: a 19 MB scan can drop to under 1 MB while keeping the text readable. Choose a higher quality level if you want to preserve more detail. Documents that are already mostly text compress less, because there is less to remove.

Use Merge to combine files, then drag the thumbnails to set the order before you export. To rearrange the pages inside a single document, use Organize.

Open Sign, draw your signature with your finger, then place and size it on the page. Signing is free and the whole flow stays on your device.

Use Protect (a premium tool). Choose a password and the file is encrypted on your device. Keep the password safe: because nothing is stored on a server, we cannot recover it for you.

Use Unlock, which is free, to remove the password from a file you can already open with the correct password. Cartarossa cannot break or bypass a password you do not know.

The core is free and uncapped: compress, merge, split, rotate, crop, reverse, remove and rearrange pages, page numbers, pages-per-sheet, flatten, edit details, images to PDF, unlock, and sign. Premium unlocks organize, PDF to images, watermark, image stamp, fill forms, protect, and web page to PDF.

Premium is a one-time purchase of USD 14.99 (regional prices vary), yours forever. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Use Restore Purchases in Settings. Premium unlocks on any device linked to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought it with.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Request one through the App Store or Google Play.

Some PDFs are unusual or malformed. Try the tool again, try a different file to confirm the app is working, and make sure you have a copy of the original. If it keeps failing, send us the details (not the file) through the feedback form or by email and we will look into it.

Always keep your original document before transforming it. If a result looks wrong, your original is untouched. Tell us what happened through feedback so we can improve the tool.
